‘English for Teachers & Educators’ is an intensive English course for teachers who teach subjects other than English and also for educational professionals who find they need to improve their language skills.
European citizens and those from accession countries may be eligible for Erasmus+ funding. For details see separate page.
This course is aimed at those in teaching or education roles whose current English level is B1 (Intermediate) or B2 (Upper Intermediate) level. You can choose to book for one or two weeks, although the full 2 week course is recommended.
Each week you will have 22.5 hours with your trainers, divided into language enhancement and an excursion into central London. You will be asked to complete a needs analysis questionnaire when you book so we can plan the sessions around the exact language and professional requirements of the group. You will take part in small group and pair work activities, open discussions and workshops looking at techniques for classroom management. You will also benefit from the combined experience of all the participants and will be encouraged to reflect on and share ideas and problems.
The language enhancement sessions are topic based and designed to update your overall command of the language including new vocabulary, idiomatic expressions and areas of grammar which are highlighted as problematic in the pre course questionnaire.

After lessons, you can join our guided self study sessions and can also take part in our regular programme of cultural and social activities, in order to fully benefit from your time in London.
