This programme, combining group lessons with individual tuition, is perfect for students needing extra support on particular aspects of the language.
Before you start this programme, we will ask you to take an online placement test and complete a needs analysis so we know exactly what you are hoping to achieve from your course.
You will have 15 hours per week of General English lessons in multinational classes (maximum 12 students), to practise all aspects of the language and gain confidence in speaking and listening. Your lessons will include a mixture of speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar and pronunciation exercises, based around carefully chosen textbooks and complementary materials.
In addition, you will have 6 hours per week of individual tuition with one of our friendly, experienced teachers, following a syllabus designed for your particular language needs. You can add extra individual lessons if you require an even more intensive course.
Outside the classroom, you can take part in an optional 2 hours of guided self study and use the Excel English App to continue improving your English. We also offer a range of social activities to help you to make new friends and explore London, and to practise the English you have learned.
