The London Tea Experience will give you an introduction to the traditions of English ‘Afternoon Tea’ – a special meal originally created by the British aristocracy but now enjoyed by all.
During your Experience you will learn about the history of ‘Afternoon Tea’ from your trainer and will visit the Twinings Tea Museum and famous London shops which specialise in selling tea. You will be taken to two famous venues including a 5* hotel, to experience their contrasting styles of afternoon tea and to soak up the atmosphere. You will have a lesson learning how to arrange flowers to decorate the tea table as well as a further session baking some of the teatime specialities such as scones and sponge cake.
By the end of your experience you will have had lots of practice speaking English and will also know how to arrange a tea party for your friends.
Your course includes 15 hours per week of General English in multinational classes as well as your special Experience sessions which are usually one to one with the trainer.

Your London Tea Experience sessions will take place after your English lessons each day and will be confirmed according to the availability of our trainers. We will give you a personal timetable at the start of your course.
Please note: In summer and at other busy times, we operate a zigzag timetable where all students have a mixture of morning and afternoon English lessons.
