Airport Transfers for Adults

We can arrange a meeting service at the airport or Eurostar terminal to take you directly to your accommodation. If you do not book this service, you will not be met at the airport or station. If you have booked accommodation through the school, we will provide details of the nearest underground station to your homestay, residence or hotel.

Details & Highlights

Airport or station transfers are optional for all students aged 18 years and above. You can book transfers for arrival and departure, or for arrival only.

If you or your child are aged 16 or 17, we strongly recommend you book our airport/station meeting & transfer service for both arrival and departure. If you do not book this service, we will ask you for details of your alternative arrangements on our Parental Consent Form.

How it works – on arrival

A representative of our transfer company will meet you at the arrivals area of the airport or terminal and introduce you to your driver, who will take you safely to your chosen accommodation.

The benefit of this service is that after a long flight, you do not need to worry about –

how to find your accommodation
how to use public transport on your very first day in a new city
how much money you will need to pay for a private taxi or public transport

When booking your airport/station transfer service, please tell us your flight/train details as soon as possible. We will then do the rest!

Important

If you do not book this service, you will not be met at the airport or station and must plan your own journey to your accommodation.
When you arrange your flights, please be aware of the following – check in times for homestays are 09.00 – 22.00; check in times for the Muswell Hill residence are 12.00 – 19.00; the Tufnell Park residence has 24 hour check in.
If your flight is arriving after 20.00 or before 05.30 you may be able to pay an homestay accommodation supplement of £20 for late/early check in.

How it works – on departure

Approximately 3-4 days before your departure, our Client Services Team will ask you to confirm your departure flight details, and agree the best time for you to leave your accommodation.

On the departure day, the driver will meet you at your accommodation at the agreed time, and drive you directly to the correct airport or airport terminal.

Important

If you would like someone to help you check in at the airport, please tell us. There is an extra fee payable for check-in assistance.
If you do not book the transfer service, you will need to travel to the airport/station alone, either by public transport or by arranging your own minicab.
If possible, please book your return flight so you do not have to leave your accommodation after 21.00 or before 07.00.

The prices below are for a single journey for one person. Prices are available on request for two or more people travelling together.

The prices above include 1.5 hours waiting time from the time your plane lands or train arrives. If you are delayed by immigration or baggage reclaim by more than 2 hours, you will be charged £20 per hour for additional waiting time.
