The Excel English Promise

At Excel English we want to you learn English fast and enjoy your time in London.

To help you achieve your goals we will:

1. Carefully test your level when you arrive in London, including an interview with one of our senior experienced academic staff, to discuss your priorities for your studies in the UK
2. Place you in a level that best suits your needs – to consolidate your previous learning and challenge you to improve
3. Employ only trained and experienced teachers, who will plan stimulating lessons to encourage you and build your confidence
4. Give you regular testing and 1:1 meetings with your teacher, to discuss your progress
5. Move you to the next class level when you and your teachers agree that you are ready
6. Provide academic support and carefully chosen materials in the self access centre to support your out of class study
7. Find you clean, comfortable accommodation if you need it
8. Encourage you to feel relaxed in the school and make friends
9. Give you many opportunities to practise your English outside the classroom, by arranging social activities to add to and enhance your London experience
10. Only employ friendly, supportive staff who will help you every step of the way
11. Listen carefully to any concerns you may have and act on them where necessary
12. Always take your language learning seriously

To help us we ask that you:

1. Attend all your lessons and arrive on time
2. Speak English at all times (including in the student room and during social activities)
3. Encourage and support your classmates, to help them to improve their English
4. Let us know if you are having difficulties, either in class or with any other aspect of your stay in London
5. Listen to the advice of your teachers and other Excel English staff

Guarantee:

Your progress is very important to us and we’re confident of your success.  We guarantee that you will reach the level agreed with you on arrival, as long as you are studying for a minimum of 12 weeks, have attended all your lessons and done your homework and the learning tasks set during your tutorials.  If you don’t achieve the agreed level you can study with us free until you do.
