British Council / Accreditation UK

Excel English has been accredited by the British Council/Accreditation UK since 1991 and has consistently exceeded the basic standards required by the scheme.

When we are inspected, the school is examined by two inspectors, who look at every aspect of our operation. This includes the building, the resources for students and teachers, the general and academic management, the publicity, and the standards of teaching, accommodation, social activities and student care, especially for students aged under 18 years. The inspection is very thorough and the school has to be fully re-inspected every four years, to make sure our standards remain high. The British Council inspectors can also make extra checks without warning.

Our most recent British Council inspection took place in June 2013.  The inspectors found that Excel English met the standards in all 15 areas of the scheme, and noted strengths in 12 areas.  The school is due to be reinspected in June 2017.
